Wood density calculator for rectangular boards and wedges

If you want to measure the density of a rectangular board, you can measure its size, thickness and mass and insert them in the following widget.

Remember that density ranges between 350 and 450 Kg/m3 for most soundboard woods. Maple density ranges  between 500 and 700 Kg/m3. Rosewood and ebony are much more dense, their density ranging between 800 and 1200 Kg/m3.
